We are SO excited to be returning to Cape Town, South Africa to continue our Math-Literacy Partnership with Molo Mhlaba School!! We are also announcing a NEW partnership with The ZOE School in Nairobi, Kenya.
 
Marlee Loves Math started a partnership with Molo Mhlaba in August 2025 and the good work continues. The focus of this partnership is to support teachers in building rich, math-literacy environments that support critical thinking, inclusion, problem solving, communication, and collaboration. By using texts that center children of color, girls, and STEM topics, this partnership is aligned with Molo Mhlaba's mission. To date, Dr. Myers has provided several free professional development sessions for teachers (in-person and online), donated books to the school (thanks to some amazing partners), and is building an authorship pipeline for teachers at the school.
 
The ZOE School was founded in the suburbs of Nairobi, Kenya in 2025. This two-room school serves 14 children. Our new partnership will them will involve story times for the students and a math workshop for teachers.
 
Your donation is for one of these books. We will take an equal number of books one and two after all sales are tallied. Feel free to select this option twice to donate both books!
